My Statement of Faith

I believe in the only True and Almighty Living God. This is the God of the Hebrew Bible. He is the creator of everything that exists. The Holy One created the Heavens and the Earth by speaking them into existence; He made everything out of nothing. The Absolute is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscience. The Divine One is creator, sustainer, and redeemer; the Ancient Of Days has no beginning and has no end. God is the absolute one who is self- sustaining and self-sufficient. There is only one God made up of the three persons of the Trinity, consisting of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe in the sovereignty of God over the universe; The Lord is the Lord of all. God is Spirit, and God is love. The Pre-existing One is the ultimate and perfect being, void of all imperfections, and error. God is the only giver of life, and superior in every way. God made mankind out of the clay of the earth, and breathed into them the breath of life and they became living souls, made in the image of God. .

Due to humankind's disobedience, sin entered the world and separated them from God. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that who so ever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. The full expression of God's love for us is demonstrated in His only son. Jesus was without sin, and offered up as a sin offering for rebellious humankind. He purchased our salvation with his blood. There is no other name that humankind can call on to be saved from their sins and judgment. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father except by me". After being crucified, Jesus was buried, and on the third day God raised him from the dead and he appeared to the disciples and over five hundred people before going back to the Father. In his absence, the Holy Spirit was sent to give believers the ability to witness about Jesus and the Father. He is also called the Comforter, who teaches and leads us into all truth.
